Day 2 - 11.12.2025 - near Folkestone to near Urecht

Early start today - 0530 - so we could get to the Eurotunnel by 0730.

When we got there, there were Tesla superchargers and no-one on them, so it would be rude not to plug in whilst we had a wander round the terminal building and partake of the facilities.

The train was running a little late, so we were nearly full by the time we had to leave and drive through Passport control and onto the train...

Then, half hour later we were in France - the second of 4 countries today, the others being Belgium and The Netherlands.

Today was a long drive on motorways / dual carriageways and there were sooooo many lorries! The inside lane was the lorry lane and the outside lane only for cars!

We stopped for lunch when we needed a comfort break and had a Burger King - and I found out that they have 8 flavours of Tango in Belgium including Citrus and Raspberry!!

Stopped at a huge Carrefour in Antwerp and did some shopping, picking up some French bread - why does genuine French bread from France ALWAYS taste soooo much better than the shit we have in the UK? Also some wine and cakes, cheese and juice - it was fun!

Another hour's drive and arrived at the Tesla Supercharger at Meerkerk - another quiet one with loads of superchargers (24). A top up to 84% before a short 25min drive to to our home for 3 nights south of Utrecht. 406.9 miles so far driven from home.

Time for a few hours unwinding before bed...
