Round up and figures, now we're home!

Did we enjoy it?
Of cause we did it was a trip of a lifetime!

Would we do it again?
Yes, but to go that far we needed longer - it was A LOT of driving and another 2-3 weeks would have done it.

Would you do the same route / areas?
To be fair, Stockholm and Copenhagen were the nicest cities we went to - don't get me wrong Oslo, Stavanger, Amsterdam etc were nice and clean and safe, but there was something about Stockholm and Copenhagen that was magical and we would love to go back.
The scenery in Norway was stunning and I would love to see it again in the Summer.
We would also love to explore The Netherlands, Denmark and Germany for that matter, a lot more, they were surprisingly pretty and different - which is lucky as they are closer!

What were the people like?
In a word - lovely! We found them all to be sooo very friendly, helpful and polite (and all will - and are even eager to - speak English) in all but one country - France! The French are such a belligerent lot! I really don't think they like the English! The French supermarkets are worth a visit, but I think we could skip France in general and head to pastures new!

Was doing this trip in an electric car an issue?
No. In fact having to stop every 1.5 - 2 hours made the journey calmer, more relaxing and actually more enjoyable as you saw more and it broke the whole journey into manageable chunks. Not to mention half to a quarter of the price of doing it in an ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) car (and we weren't hanging around).

Any issues with the weather?
The weather for us was brilliant, the only issue (which you would know about if you read the blog), was lack of grip on wet ice and in deep snow. We could have done with studded tyres, but with them being illegal in the UK, there is no way we could have utilised a set without it costing thousands for just this trip.
